by Korrea Johnston

Washington, DC’s Summer Restaurant Week is in full swing from August 17 to 23. Now through Sunday, participating restaurants are offering three-course prix-fixe lunches for just $22 and dinners for $35. Don’t miss out on this delectable deal!

Thrillist DC has compiled a list of “The 16 Most Important Restaurants in DC” based on the restaurants’ impact on the local dining scene. Fortunately for us, seven of those 16 restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week this year.

Capital Bikeshare offers 24/7 access to thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations in the DC metro area. You could take a quick 30-minute trip to your desired restaurant for just $1. Simply unlock, ride, and return to your nearest station!

DC Circulator

The DC Circulator delivers affordable, comfortable, and efficient bus service that connects people to popular destinations, culture, and entertainment throughout the District. And it only costs $1 to ride!

Metrobus

Two-thirds of commuters in the DC area live less than one mile away from a bus stop, so a stop shouldn’t be too far from you! Metrobus fares start at $2 and are paid with cash or SmarTrip® card upon boarding; daily, weekly, and monthly discounted bus passes are available as well.

Metrorail

57% of DC employees live less than three miles away from a train station so you could be within walking or biking distance, too! Metrorail fares vary by time of day and the distance between stations, and are paid with SmarTrip® cards.

Reservations can be made online through OpenTable. Be sure to use our interactive map to plan your travel to any of the other 200+ participating restaurants.
