Residential Walking Tour with Frequency Apartments
by Korrea Johnston
Of the many services offered by goDCgo, residential properties are fond of our residential walking tours. You may wonder: what is a residential walking tour? It’s an experience for property managers, concierge, and residents to learn about all the alternative transportation options and amenities close to the property.
Frequency Apartments, a new complex located in the heart of Tenleytown and a goDCgo Residential Ambassador, recently hosted a walking tour for residents and property management staff. This tour included a walk to the nearest Metro station which is just one block away from the Red Line’s Tenleytown Metro Station entrance, along with a discussion about the different fare pass options and hours of operation. Additionally, the group learned about mobile apps like Transit and City Mapper to plan their trips in and around the District. Frequency offers the convenience of living in downtown Washington, DC while being tucked away in a park-like environment. And the central location is a walker’s paradise with a walk score of 94 — you can’t beat that!
Residents also learned about Capital Bikeshare and how to use the app to check out a bike on the go. Participants enjoyed exploring all the on-site amenities as well, including the bike room, online resources, and telework space so they can skip the commute altogether.
goDCgo is happy to host complimentary on-site events for any residential property that is interested in helping residents with their commute options. This includes commuter socials, how-to workshops and cycling classes that are tailored to your residents’ unique transportation needs. If you’re not sure of your residents’ needs, goDCgo also offers unique commuter surveys to poll their travel patterns and uncover results to identify program recommendations.
