Pedal Pushin’ to the Finish Line

We’ve officially crossed the finish line of our 10-week 2019 Spring Pedal Push! Thank you to all organizations who participated this year and a huge welcome to our new Capital Bikeshare Corporate Members! Capital Bikeshare Corporate Membership allows employers to provide a fun, affordable, and healthy commute option for their employees to bike to/from the office.
For the second year in a row, goDCgo’s Spring Pedal Push raised awareness about Capital Bikeshare Corporate Membership, inviting new DC employers to join and helping to increase employee participation of existing corporate members. Through the corporate program, employers can purchase Capital Bikeshare annual memberships for their employees at a discounted rate of $50, compared to the standard price of $85 each.
From April 29 to June 28, 2019, goDCgo connected with multiple DC-area employers of all industries and sizes to offer our special Spring Pedal Push promotion. Employers who became a Capital Bikeshare Corporate Member during the promotional 10-week period received an incentive package including:
- up to 5 free annual memberships
- a $25 VISA gift card for the Employee Transportation Coordinator
- a free WABA Everyday Biking Seminar to promote education and safety
- a goDCgo swag bag
By the end of the campaign, goDCgo established 11 new Capital Bikeshare corporate accounts. And, two existing employers increased employee participation in their Capital Bikeshare program by an average 8%. Way to go team!
