Free Basic Bike Repair Clinic

Volunteers from The Bike House, Gearin’ Up Bicycles, WABA, SafeRoutes, and DC Public Library will provide bike repair services at no cost to the public outside of Anacostia Neighborhood Library on select Saturdays this summer from noon to 2:30 pm. All ages and bike are welcome.

This program is supported by DC Department of Transportation’s Vision Zero Initiative, looking to reach zero fatalities by the year 2024 in the District of Columbia. Pop-Up shops are dedicated to reaching that goal for city cyclists by repairing bicycles in need of safety related service, as well as spreading education and safe riding habits.
