On Sunday, May 27, from 8 pm to 9:30 pm (gates open at 5 pm) start your summer of with a bang with this annual FREE concert featuring a mix of dramatic readings, documentary footage and live musical performances, along with an all-star line-up of dignitaries, actors and musical artists. Some of the performers featured include Daughtry, Natalie Cole, Trace Adkins, The National Symphony Orchestra, The U.S. Army Chorus and many others. The Metrorail and Metrobus are both excellent ways to get around the District and the entire DC area. On the Blue and Orange Lines, the Capitol South Metro and the Federal Center Metro stops are convenient to the Capitol grounds.
