Enjoy one of DC’s most welcome summer events:  movies under the stars.  To dovetail with the Mayan’s doomsday prophesy for 2012, this year’s theme is The End of the World? and the movie series will kick off on Wednesday, May 23, 7 pm, at the Loree Grand Field.  Each event starts with music, giveaways, family fun, food vendors and picnicking.  The series will continue every Wednesday through August 8.  For more information, please visit NoMa Movie Series.

The Metrorail and Metrobus are both excellent ways to get around the District and the entire DC area. The event is close to the New York Avenue Metro stop on the Red Line.
