To celebrate the National Cherry Blossom Festival, the Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District (BID) will host its 2nd Annual Lantern Making Family Day at the Yards Park on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 10 am – 2 pm. There will be two lantern making sessions at 10 am and 12 pm. Each lantern making session will be followed by a parade through the Yards Park. Hapmudo will perform a variety of martial arts on the boardwalk during the event along with other group performances. A moonbounce will also be set up for children. Japanese food from Far East Taco Grille and Seoul Food DC will be for sale for picnics in the park as well as Pinkberry frozen yogurt for dessert.
