DESCRIPTION:The 2nd annual Cherry Blossom Bike Ride and Cycle Expo will be held down by the scenic Georgetown Waterfront on Water Street.  The Cycle expo with kick off at 10:00 am on Sunday\, March 25\, with local bike shops and cycling related vendors offering information on products\, bike maintenance\, training programs and more. At 11:00 am the first celebrity led ride will take off for a 10 mile out and back ride along the Capital Crescent Trail. Additional rides will take off every 45 minutes.  You must pre-register for a ride by completing the RSVP. Rides are limited to 100 participants per group (400 riders maximum).REGISTER EARLY. Educational seminars will be offered throughout the event with topics like “How to Change a Flat Tire” and “Bike Safety”.For more information including a seminar schedule and how to register\, visit Cherry Blossom Bike Ride.

The Georgetown Waterfront is accessible from both the Rosslyn and Foggy Bottom metro stops on the Blue and Orange Lines.*There will be track work this weekend.Allow an extra 30 minutes for metro travel.
